Principal's Message

Welcome to Sugar Mill Elementary School, Home of the Panthers!

Since 1982, Sugar Mill Elementary has been honored to serve the Port Orange community. As your principal, I am thrilled to welcome you to our Panther family, where we cherish tradition and prioritize building meaningful connections with our students and their families.

By working together as a team, we lay a strong foundation for our children’s success. This partnership will ensure that our students achieve their academic goals and develop important social skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Our dedicated staff is passionate about creating a nurturing and supportive environment. We strive to challenge, encourage, and inspire every child to grow as a lifelong learner.

Due to our commitment to work collaboratively with home and school, Sugar Mill Elementary is now an "A" rated school, the first time in 12 years!

Thank you for your ongoing support. We are excited to have you as part of our Panther family where You Can't Hide Your Panther Pride!
