Principal's Message

Welcome to Sugar Mill Elementary School, Home of the Panthers! 

Sugar Mill Elementary has served our Port Orange community and its children since 1982.  As the proud principal of this fabulous school, I am very excited to join the Panther family and continue all the wonderful traditions that have been started here. I look forward to a year of building relationships and getting to know the community that will create the foundation for our students.

I strongly believe that we are all part of a team that has an impact on our children, and it is in our best interest to work together to help build a strong foundation for them to move into the future. I look forward to this partnership to support our students achieve success and develop positive social skills that will help them reach their full potential and goals.

I would like to promise an enriching experience and ensure that we work hard to provide a warm and caring atmosphere where all children will be challenged and successful. The dedicated teachers and staff at Sugar Mill Elementary will provide each child with the opportunity to grow as a life-long learner in all areas of academics and the arts.  We endeavor to provide a warm and caring atmosphere where all children are challenged and successful.
